RESOLUTION

               Giving Council’s Consent to the City Manager’s Appointment
                                   of a Chief of Police


       BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, pursuant to

Section 20-2 of the City Code that that the City Manager’s appointment of

__________________________ to the position of Charlottesville Police Chief is hereby

approved by the City Council.
