           CITY COUNCIL HAS BEEN CALLED AND SHALL BE HELD:

AGENDA: The proposed agenda for this special meeting is as follows:
       I.     OPEN MEETING to vote on a motion to convene a closed meeting, for the
              purpose listed below.

       II.    CLOSED MEETING pursuant to Sections 2.2-3711 and 2.2-3712 of the Virginia
              Code for the purpose of:

              •   interviews, discussion and consideration of prospective candidates to fill
                  current and future vacancies on various City Council-appointed boards and
                  commissions

       III.   OPEN MEETING to vote on the meeting certification required by Va. Code 2.2-
              3712(D).
