CHARLOTTESVILLE/ALBEMARLE CPMT CSA PROGRAM SUBCOMMITTEE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 2019 ROOM C; COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. MEETING MINUTES PRESENT ATTENDEES: Jennifer Wells, Garrett Jones, Suzanne Fladd, Jenny Jones, Mary Stebbins, Christa Galleo, Katie Ralston, Tina Sexton; Neta Davis ABSENT ATTENDEES: Crystal Lantz, Jodie Murphy, Hope Robinson I. Call to Order – Chair II. Introductions/ Addition of Critical Items/Approval of Agenda – Chair III. Approval of Meeting Notes and Agenda from March 6, 2019 IV. Updates A. FAPT – Christa Galleo & Jim Gross/ Julia Rubarth 1. Two CPMT members have attended FAPT meetings. It was suggested that CPMT members attend a FAPT meeting to better understand the process and to discuss their FAPT experience and observations in hopes to improve processes. 2. Discussions will need to be made regarding the process of finding a new Chair for FAPT which normally happens in July. 3. Service Gap Survey due by May 3, 2019. Discussion will need to be held in April. Survey tool will be email to everyone. B. CSA Coordinators – Katie Ralston & Jennifer Wells 1. CSA Conference is scheduled for the end of April. 2. City of Charlottesville CSA audit has been completed and went well. We benefited from the support of the county’s audit last year. C. Partner Agency Updates – 1. An opportunity to utilize new resources from “Open Table” has been granted. Open Table provides community based resources that are geared to train, support children, adult and community groups. Our target will be focused on young adult ages 18-22 years old. 2. Cost is directly related to Company licensure fees for “Open Table” only. Training will be provided to small groups to become certified in their specific targeted training areas. D. CPMT - Data Report No update V. Service Gaps A. Service Gap Review and Recommendations 1. The CSA service gap survey will be due by May 3rd. Survey tools will be emailed to everyone to discuss with their respective agencies and bring back input. B. Trauma Informed Services 1. Series of CRI Training coming up. CRI One (Training is 1 day) CRI Two (Training will be 1 day) and then Train the Trainer (2 days). C. Multicultural Service Gaps - None VI. Family Engagement Recommending to end FAPT survey and have further discussion about creating a survey to gather feedback about providers/services. VII. Other/New Business 1. DJJ will be piloting a new program to identify children who may need services without going to court (based on certain offenses). 2. DSS – Family First should be taking effect around October 2019. Services must be Trauma Informed and Evidence based in order to use IV-E funding. Ten Services are currently being focused on. 3. OCS Conference – Open Table will be present. 4. The needs assessment for the PSSF grant has been completed. Final Draft will be presented at the next CPMT meeting for approval. VIII. Messaging Out/Responses for CPMT or Others The April meeting is rescheduled for 4/10/19 due to Spring Break being the first week of April. IX. Meeting was adjourned at 2:55pm.
