Members’ Report: Ms. Brown shared that Birth Sisters of Charlottesville received a grant to train doulas on culturally responsive trauma-informed care. Chair’s Report: None Annual Report to City Council: The annual report will be presented to City Council on December 21 at 4:00 p.m. The report will include information about the following items:  Agency statistics  Increase in Benefits applications since the beginning of COVID-19  Increase in the number of adoptions  The Casey Foundation recognizing the agency for its high kinship placement rate  Family Services Specialists continuing to make monthly visits  Child care subsidy workers recognized for 100% on-time processing  New Parent Navigator position  Economic impact and funding sources  How the agency has adapted business processes since the beginning of COVID-19 Chair & Vice Chair Nominations: The board will wait until new board members are appointed to elect a new chair and vice chair. The date and time of the meeting are to be decided. Ms. Kuknyo invited board members to attend the celebration.
